Dear parents, welcome to the Neelan Group of Schools.
My goal is to build a nation where no individual is suppressed in the name of caste, religion, or money, and the only way to achieve it is to educate. And only when all are educated can these obstacles be overcome with ease, which enables them to lead a successful and self-content life by being sufficient for themselves, their families, and the nation as a whole. My desire to educate all persuaded me to establish an educational trust, providing schools with all necessary infrastructure and ample space to grasp tomorrow’s technology.
Being a veteran of three generations of education, right from Guru Shishya, the convents, and the latest schooling, which is so fast and changing every minute, I feel equipping our children to face tomorrow’s world is much more essential. This is possible only in a school that incorporates both physical and intellectual activities and moral values along with academics. The role of a teacher in shaping the future of students is vital. A teacher is a student's friend, philosopher, and guide. At the same time, a teacher should be an actor, magician, scientist, and poet to help the students develop in multidimensional aspects. This is something the students enjoy only at school.
The concepts of Mata, Pita, Guru, and Deivam are not to be taken sequentially. Mata, the mother, is equivalent to Guru, who starts teaching the child right from birth. And Pita the father is equivalent to God, who provides a feeling of security, both physical and emotional, to the child. A teacher also does the job of a mother in the school. So Mata’s and Guru’s roles are interchangeable.
I am more attached to Tamil, it being my mother tongue, but when it comes to attaining a higher standard in life, it is better to get well versed in a common global language, i.e., English. This brings more confidence in competing globally, which also gives more opportunities and growth options.
Thus I moulded a mission in my life to bring high-quality education with the latest technology available and affordable to the common people, giving our younger generations an opportunity to face tomorrow’s world at ease.

and being decisive to implant quality education in the upcoming generation and create an empowered generation for the nation, Revered Thiru U. Neelan, a multifaceted businessman, politician, social worker, educator, and writer who is also a simple and affluent person,
decided to pursue one of his goals of providing quality education and established the Neelan Group of Schools. Attracted by the ambience and having a keen interest in social development in this part of the state (Guduvanchery), he initiated one of his schools here that could provide education with a touch of excellence that could compete with the modernisation of education. What Neelan School has done in its vicinity is in line with a forecast made twenty years ago for the growth and benefits of the students. He believes that the present should be an example for the future.
